Check in time is between 2.00pm and 4.00pm on the day of arrival or by arrangement.

Guests are required to vacate their room by 10.00am on the day of departure.

If you would like to spend a little more time around the town prior to departure, secure storage of luggage is available.

The Guest Lounge is situated at the front of the house and enjoys the morning sunshine. Light and airy, high ceiling and living flame fire gives the room a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere.  You are welcome to watch the TV or just relax over a good book from our extensive library with a pot of tea or coffee - complimentary of course!

 Car parking

Guests are welcome to use the off road car parking facilities at the front of the house. 

The proprietors of the Guest House cannot accept responsibility for any loss or damage that may occur to any vehicles that use this facility.

Guests park their car/s at their 'own risk'.

We regret that we are not able to accommodate any person(s) with a serious and/or life-threatening nut or food allergy.  We are happy to cater for any other dietary needs, such as gluten-free, vegetarian or vegan diets. Please tell us at the time of booking as we can provide a more interesting menu with prior notice.

A plentiful supply of quality, locally procured breakfast items are served daily 7.30 - 9.00 am

 No Smoking Policy

SMOKING IS NOT PERMITTED ON THE PREMISES

All bedrooms are non-smoking as is the lounge, breakfast room and communal areas (the later due to recent legislation). 

Any bedrooms tainted by residual tobacco odours will be specially cleaned and aired over a 24-hour period and all charges resulting from this, both actual and loss of business (at prevailing B&B rates) will be charged for. 

To comply with fire regulations, smoke alarms are fitted to all rooms.

 Office Facilities

If you're on business, you are welcome to use the office facilities on the second floor where there is  plenty of desk space to spread work around.
